Location apps are about discovering what & who is relevant to where you are & what you're doing in real life. The social web meets reality.
Some don't understand the location apps. It's not about oversharing or leaving a trail of where you've been.
Or they'll all start connecting with Twitter or Facebook as the backbone for compatibility.
If one Location Check-In app doesn't dominate within a year, then they'll need to start playing nice with eachother's APIs.
Whrrl has the most intuitive & useful interface, but who's using it?
Whrrl and Loopt also issued iPhone apps today. Where is Yelp's update? Porn preoccupied with Google maybe.
Foursquare and Gowalla both released big iPhone app updates today. They're oddly similar changes. Let the #loc wars begin
